DokuTech Swiss was founded because technical documentation in the machine industry is too often treated as an afterthought – even though it is legally required and determines safety, liability, and market access.
Our goal: Every Swiss and European SME should be able to create standards-compliant operating instructions efficiently, multilingually, and AI-assisted – without expensive consultants or complicated enterprise software.

The Founder Behind DokuTech Swiss
For over 25 years, I have worked in industry – as a machine builder, technical writer and software developer. I know the challenges of technical documentation first-hand: confusing Word documents, missing standard structures, tedious translation processes and expensive CCMS systems that are hardly affordable for SMEs.
I developed DokuTech.app because I wanted a solution I would have liked to have myself: an editorial system that makes standards-oriented operating manuals simple – without six-figure investments, without months-long implementation projects and without an IT department.
My experience in mechanical engineering, technical writing and software development flows directly into product development. Every feature in DokuTech.app solves a concrete problem I have experienced in practice.
Our Story
The Beginning in Machine Industry
Peter Tepe starts his career as a certified operations engineer in the Swiss machine industry. Over decades, he gains experience in design, manufacturing, and technical documentation.
The Idea is Born
After years of frustration with Word-based manuals and expensive enterprise solutions, the vision emerges: A cloud-based CCMS specifically designed for SMEs in mechanical engineering.
DokuTech Swiss is Founded
Founding of DokuTech Swiss based in Switzerland. Development begins with focus on standards compliance per EU Machinery Regulation (EU) 2023/1230.
Launch of DokuTech.app
The first version of DokuTech.app goes live with 10 system templates, 537 chapters, AI-powered text generation, and integrated risk assessment per EN ISO 12100.
AI Migration & Growth
Introduction of AI-powered document migration, image/symbol recognition, and translation in 30+ languages. Lok Lun Tam joins the team as software engineer and designated successor.
